About Us

Hi! My name is Natalie. I am a mother of 4 beautiful young ladies and “Gigi” (grandmother) to  two sweet girls. And to top it all off I also have a new baby pup, Zoe. By day I have a very demanding job that often requires me to put in 12+ hours Monday to Friday. Life is very busy!

When I was exposed to the camping experience 2 years ago, I was immediately hooked. There is nothing like disconnecting from the busyness of life and recharging by being cradled by Mother Nature. I love being lulled to sleep by the songs of chirping crickets and rising in the morning to the melodies of birds and campfire brewed coffee.

As a new camper (later in life), I knew that I wanted a “glamping” experience so I spent hours and hours finding a pop up tent trailer. I found one from a very nice couple, who sold it for a reasonable price. The trailer required some upgrading, mostly cosmetic and allowed for some great camping experiences from the sacred lands of Oshwaken to the amazing wildlife at Killbear Provincial Park

For my next glamping experience, I wanted a trailer that required less set up and offered more luxuries, but I did not want to spend an exorbitant amount of money. I needed something light enough to be towed by my SUV and durable enough to withstand the upcoming camping adventures I am hoping to make.  I also wanted a project that I could customize to my needs and a tiny space that I could carve out to be my own.

So here is to sharing my journey with all of you!

Cheers,

Nat

Why Wild wishes?

How Wild Wishes was born

I consider myself a conservative person, always opting for the “safe” choice when making decisions. This was a by-product of being a young, single mom and having to make sure my girls had everything they needed. In 2019, I listened to a motivational speech by Steve Harvey and he spoke about writing out your vision. One of the things that Steve said during that speech is that we tend to think small when we are envisioning the things that we want. That stuck with me. I no longer put limits on the things that I want for my life….my dreams may seem wild and out there, but the beauty of it all, is that it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else. I still consider myself conservative but I am learning to step over that line and dare to dream WILD! The possibilities are endless and I dare you to put out your Wild Wishes and seem them come true.
